Santa’s advice of today is, never do the wrong thing. Yes, this sounds pretty stupid, and does it mean that we will always do the right thing instead? Here are some take aways:
🎄 Do the thing you think it’s the right thing to do
🎄 You usually know what the right thing is
🎄 Never do the wrong thing consciously
🎄 It’s not fair on anybody in your organization
🎄 AND it’s not fair on you
Never do the wrong thing. Always do the right thing and you know what the right thing is. You know when you're looking at a feature, if you're looking at a line of code, when you're looking at a prioritization, you know what the wrong thing is. That doesn't mean you are right all the time. But you should always advocate for what is the right thing to do. Do the right thing. Speak up, speak out, share your ideas, listen to others, but never do the wrong thing consciously. It's not fair on anybody in your in your organization, it's not fair on you. Certainly not do good things for your reputation. So do the right thing every day it'll make a big difference.
Agile Santa has agreed to exclusively present his wisdom and advice with humor to all agilists in the world this year via piplanning.io.
